Partnering with SparkCharge, Media Round-up & Award Recognition

Last week, we revealed plans for on-demand EV charging with our new partnership with SparkCharge - continuing a busy second half of 2020 for Spiffy. Joe Overby, Senior Editor at Auto Remarketing and recurring guest on the Vehicle 2.0 Podcast, best summed up last week’s news in his coverage: “Spiffy has added yet another arrow to its quiver.” 
EV charging has been an area that we’ve continued to work towards over the last few years. Partnering with the folks at SparkCharge - fresh off their appearance on Shark Tank - was an excellent match. The excitement surrounding the announcement has made us even more eager to deliver this increasingly needed service with the same professional convenience that has brought us to this point.
Our CEO, Scot Wingo, was featured in not one but two interviews just before our SparkCharge announcement. The first was a part of WRAL TechWire’s Startup Spotlight, which explored his strategies behind our latest announcements - including our Complete Car Care partnerships and the Spiffy Disinfection Store. The second was a “Profile of a Founder” feature from The Tech Tribune, diving into the origin, biggest hurdles, and future of Spiffy. 
In addition to the variety of media coverage, we were honored to be recognized by The Tech Tribune and TRACXN. The former listed us as #3 on their list of 2021 Best Tech Startups in Durham. The latter named us a “Minicorn” of the Emerging Startup of Auto E-Commerce & Content. We were previously recognized as a part of the Local Services category earlier this year.
