After a wildly successful 2021, it’s no surprise that 2022 has already shot out of the gates here at the Spiffy office. To kick things off, we’re eager to formally announce the launch of five new cities, alongside some exciting company milestones!
The newest batch of Spiffy cities is headlined by four franchise markets, located in:
- Albany, NY
- Indianapolis, IN
- Oklahoma City, OK
- Wilmington, NC
The fifth and final city in this latest round of geographic expansion is Houston, TX, which will be owned and operated by our Spiffy corporate team. In total, we are now in over 30 cities in 20 different states!

But this new isn't just celebrating five new cities joining the Spiffy family. We've also crossed the threshold for a handful of milestones that demonstrate how far we've come from the early startup days nearly eight years ago.
Spiffy’s First Year of Franchising
Last January, our franchising program began to ramp up as our first five partners signed on for the initial six franchise markets. With our newest four locations, we’re thrilled to have achieved 10 total launches in our first full year of franchising!
As we look ahead to the future of our franchise program, we have high expectations for another year of growth. In fact, our goal is to double our 2021 launch totals with plans to open 20 new franchises! 1 Million Services!
As if all these new cities weren’t enough, we’ve got even more cause for celebration: Spiffy has surpassed 1 million completed services! The last time we celebrated a significant service milestone was back in October 2019, when we hit 200,000 services.
Back then, we pointed out that “it took us 49 months to complete our first 100,000 services and your support got us to 200,000 in less than 14!” Well, 27 months and an ongoing pandemic later, we’ve surpassed a milestone that was unthinkable when we were starting out in 2014. We couldn’t have done it without your continued support!
What’s Next?
We’re continuing to define the ongoing chapter of the Spiffy story after a successful Series B fundraise. Our sights are set on bringing brake, battery, and other light repair services to our cities nationwide. And, of course, continuing to plant the Spiffy flag coast-to-coast via new corporate-owned-and-operated and franchise locations.
